In the third quarter of 2024, the top five social networking apps in Angola showed varied performance trends across different metrics, as reported by Sensor Tower.

IMVU: Fun 3D Avatar Chat Game saw a remarkable peak in weekly revenue at $614 in early August. Its downloads fluctuated, reaching a high of 535 in the last week of September. The app maintained a steady rise in active users, ending the quarter with around 2.1K users.

Facebook had a steady increase in weekly active users, starting at approximately 6.7M and climbing to over 7.2M by the end of September. Revenue showed an upward trend, peaking at $211 in late September. However, downloads showed a decline, with numbers falling from over 63K in early July to around 35K by the quarter's end.

Messenger for WhatsApp Duo Web experienced a notable increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, peaking at 340 in the last week of September. Revenue also saw a significant boost, reaching $116 in the same week. Active users increased gradually, closing the quarter at 2K.

Messenger Web for WhatsApp had a modest performance with steady weekly revenue, peaking at $87 in mid-July. Downloads remained relatively low, fluctuating between 8 and 21 throughout the quarter, while active users hovered around 160.

Telegram Messenger showed a fairly stable trend in active users, maintaining around 450K throughout the quarter. Revenue varied, with a high of $206 in mid-July. Downloads saw a downward trend, starting at over 14K in early July and ending at 11.7K by the end of September.
